This Tuesday, the\u00a0 school had a visit from the Mountain Rescue Team. Dave Macpheat and Dave Tyson who are both Mountain Rescue Volunteers\u00a0 talked about what they do when they are working. They came into our playground with a mountain rescue vehicle and they had three activities for each class to do. The first activity was to learn about how to carry the stretcher, the second activity was to make up word to tell the other group\u00a0 through the radio to see if they could figure it out. This is the phonetic alphabet!\u00a0 The third activity was to look though all of the equipment in the Mountain Rescue workers bags!\"\"<\/p>\n
