I would just like to take this opportunity to introduce myself as Mrs Dingwall, the new class teacher for P1/P2/P3. In class we have all been spending some time getting to know each other and everyone is settling well into the class and school routines. We have been looking at health and considering things which make a good friend and learning how to keep ourselves safe. The P1’s have been learning the ‘a’ and ‘t’ sound and have been introduced to numbers. In P2 and P3 we have been revising some of the numeracy and literacy we completed last session to allow us to progress.

PE will be a Tuesday and Thursday and children should come to school wearing PE clothing on those days.  Please remember to label clothing, footwear and water bottles and it is recommended that the children bring water in their bottles.

I will be teaching the class a Tuesday morning and all day Wednesday, Thursday and Friday and Mrs Gordon will be teaching a Monday and then a Tuesday afternoon.

I look forward to hopefully meeting you during the school year and will be present at the gate, when I am teaching, in the morning and afternoon should you have any questions.
