Creating Learning Characters

“We were told Visible Learning was when you look at your learning and you know what you need to do to get where you need to in your learning.

We were given different words called dispositions to look at in groups. They are different skills you need to learn and to be a successful learner.

The words are:

Curious

Determined

Make-linksĀ

Ownership

Co-operate

Communicate

Each group organised a performance to teach the rest of the school what the words meant and what they could do to be a better learner.”

P6/7 have come up with characters which they believe link to each of the dispositions. They will be known as learning characters. The rest of school were given the challenge of naming them.

The rest of the school thoroughly enjoyed the way P6/7 presented their research and ideas.
