The visit was about the importance of wearing helmets to protect your brain.

Leanne showed the pupils the different parts of the brain and what they do.

They learned about the size of their brain, what it looks like and feels like and how they rely on their brains for everything. A brain injury, if you are not wearing a helmet, can change your life forever in a bad way. The class watched a video clip about a boy who never wore a helmet, fell and became disabled.
