Primary 1

The pupils have been learning to add numbers together. They do this by ‘showing and growing.’

For example:

Lucie- 6+3. Show 6 and grow 3 more. This helps me with my big number adding.

 

Primary 2

The pupils have been learning to take away using different strategies.

For example:

Zofia- 18-16 you would take away the ten and be left with 8-6 which is 2.

They have enjoyed doing lots of take away sums from 20.
