The pupils explored line and shape when drawing their tree structure.

It was trickier than it looked to make sure the tree was branching into each quarter of the paper.

They then used oil pastels, experimenting with colour blending, to create the coloured backgrounds to represent the different seasons of the year.

They painted the tree structure and stuck on materials/ colours which they felt were appropriate for the seasons.
