The Water Cycle and Types of Clouds Art

The pupils discussed the water cycle as part of their weather topic. They used their own movements to support their understanding of the movement of water vapour when it evaporates, the gathering of water droplets in the clouds and the falling of precipitation.

They wondered why the clouds look different shapes and colours.

They learned some facts about different types of clouds and created some fantastic pictures using cotton wool. There were some tricky names to write on the labels.
