In September P3/4 pupils welcomed a visitor to their class. He taught the class how to grow an avocado tree from seed. The progress has been slow, but the pupils have been patient (and so has Miss Brown!!).

They have taken advice about mixing coffee in with the soil in order to improve the quality for growth. They are now planting it in a larger pot and observing the developments.
