We took part in ‘Leg it to Lapland’ for a week, this is where you do exercise which represents miles and whoever gets closest to Lapland in distance wins!<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

WE WON!!! <\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

We got the furthest in all of Scotland schools! Bryony came with her bike\/sleigh to give us our prizes. We got a pencil, a badge and an orange. We have our big prize to come. I do 15 hours of gymnastics a week so I contributed a lot! – Sophie<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

WE WON GOLD !!!!<\/strong><\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n

We have recently achieved our GOLD <\/em>Sportscotland School Sport Award 2024! <\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

The Gold<\/em> School Sport Award is recognition of our school\u2019s achievements in putting sport at the heart of our school\u2019s planning, practice and ethos.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

The Gold Award also highlights that our school has shown excellent practice across the core areas of the Award and demonstrated an on-going commitment to increase young people\u2019s opportunities and engagement in physical education, school sport and leadership and provide clear pathways to life-long participation in sport.  <\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

We are delighted and proud to have won this award and will continue to promote taking part in different sports, being active and being healthy – in our school and across our partnership.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

As a result of all the continual work we have doing since receiving our UNCRC Children’s Rights Respecting Bronze award, we are delighted to announce that we have just been awarded our SILVER award! We are very proud of this award and hope to be going for GOLD next session!<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n
