SMART Technology Design Learning in P5-7

As part of their STEMOVATORS project the pupils in P5-7 have been investigating how SMART technology can play a significant part in helping the environment.  Using their previous experience of working with MicroBits the pupils were able to create code that could be used to sense movement to turn on lights.  After experimenting with moisture in soil, they were also able to code the MicroBits to alert users when they have over or under watered their plants.  This was especially useful as the class had lots of plants growing as part of their farm to plate topic.
