This week we have enjoyed reading the story of The Galloway Chilli, by Shalla Gray.  It fits nicely with our Fam to Fork topic and so far we have had fun retelling the story in pictures.  We have broken the pictures down into an introduction/ orientation, problem, sequence of events and resolution, which are the key elements of a narrative text type.  Next week we will perform the story with puppets, before finally writing our own version.
