Over the past two weeks we have been learning  about 2D and 3D shape. We have had fun sorting and matching new shapes, creating patterns on the lightboards and drawing round shapes to make people, houses and vehicles.  We also investigated which shapes can tile and created some pretty impressive tessellations.  P.3/4 tried their hand at creating 3D shapes from nets – which was easier said than done! Much easier to use the magnetic frames and polydron than card cut-outs!
