The maths might have been wild, the weather wasn’t and the pupils in P1-4 worked really hard to complete some outdoor maths challenges as part of Maths Week Scotland. In groups the pupils used a Carroll Diagram to sort natural and some unnatural objects that they found in the playground. The pupils also sorted through a huge pile of bamboo to try and find the pieces the measured exactly 1m. Finally, the class played a maths version of noughts and crosses where a winning line of 3 had to add up to 15.
