Carbon Centre Biodiversity Workshop

P5-7 enjoyed a trip to Dickie Woods with Carys  from Carbon Centre for a Biodiversity Workshop.  The children went on both a plant and bug hunt using identification cards and found a great amount of living things in Dickie woods.  Carys explained how the living things found show that the Dickie Woods is doing really well in terms of biodiversity.  She explained how important biodiversity is and how factors like climate change and human intervention can impact on this.
