Hello parents and carers,
We would love to see you adding your comments to our school posts. Our P6/7 children are working hard to get this blog up and running.
Happy blogging,
Miss Thompson
The whole partnership (Hoddom Eaglesfield and Hottsbridge) Are doing a tie competition, The winning tie will be crafted at a factory in Glasgow, These ties can be borrowed when going to a trip with other schools or can be bought to wear at school, but you have to include a maximum of 6 colours stripes and the partnership logo. Once you have finished your tie you can hand it in to a pupil that comes round every day, you pay a pound and give them the tie. It ends on the 15th of November by Sinead, Owen and Chelsey.
On Saturday the 19th of October Zoe in p7 did another dance competition.
At this dance competition she did two dances. – Fylde waltz and Waverly two step witch are classical sequence dances. She came 1st place with her dancing partner Emily.
WELL DONE ZOE
Term one – What a busy term!
1st of all, Hoddom Primary had a “Scottish Big Breakfast.” There was a choice of cereal, toast toppings and choice of drink such as – Cheerios, Coco Pops and cornflakes and for toast toppings there was – Jam, Honey and butter and then finally the drinks there was – water ,juice, milk and white tea. YUM! It was a 50p or more donation and the money went to a Scottish appeal. The food, drinks and supplies were from Gretna CO-OP. Thank you Gretna co-op – By Sinead and Chelsey.
Zoe is a very keen dancer and it is lovely to hear she is doing so well! Zoe was at Blackpool Winter Gardens, The Pavillion, at the weekend. The dances she took part in were Rose B Tango (modern sequence) and Saunter Reue (classical sequence). She received 5th place in the Rose B Tango – congratulations! What a busy day you had, Zoe – dancing from 2:45 to 4:30 pm. Zoe says this was a really tiring day for us all – however very enjoyable and rewarding.
Well done, Zoe! We are all very proud of you. From everyone at Hoddom Primary.
