She gave us a piece of paper with one side\u00a0 saying &#8220;Scottish&#8221; and the other side saying &#8220;Great Britain&#8221; and we had to choose who created the laws.\u00a0 We then created political parties and we had to share our manifesto with the class.\u00a0 Afterwards we had to vote for the party we wanted to be elected.<img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"wp-image-5116 alignleft\" src=\"https:\/\/blogs.glowscotland.org.uk\/dg\/heathhallschool\/files\/2019\/11\/DSCI1068-300x200.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"300\" height=\"200\" \/><\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"size-medium wp-image-5112 alignnone\" src=\"https:\/\/blogs.glowscotland.org.uk\/dg\/heathhallschool\/files\/2019\/11\/DSCI1066-300x200.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"300\" height=\"200\" \/><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>In September an MSP came to visit P6 and told us all about the Scottish Parliament, how laws are passed and how important it is to vote.
