As part of Fairtrade Fortnight, Primary 3 pupils learned about what Fairtrade is, how it benefits others and how we can help.<\/p>\n

Maisie W – “We learned to talk about the Fairtrade Mark. The green shows the land, the blue shows the sea or sky, and the black shows a person reaching up to get a Fairtrade item.”<\/p>\n

Lucy – “We wrote a description all about Fairtrade.”<\/p>\n

Sofia – “We made Fairtrade posters to encourage people to buy a Fairtrade product. We are going to ask to put our posters in shops.”<\/p>\n

Isla Ma – “Fairtrade helps farmers in developing countries, giving them a fair price for their bananas.”<\/p>\n
