Breastfeeding Friendly Scotland Schools Scheme

The Breastfeeding Friendly Scotland programme is expanding into schools as part of the national approach to improving health and wellbeing from early years onward. The Schools Scheme supports pupils to learn about feeding in a positive, factual and age appropriate way, helping to normalise breastfeeding and reduce stigma.

✔ Information on how to support breastfeeding pupils, staff and visitors

✔ Curriculum links within Health and Wellbeing

✔ Optional resources for assemblies or wider school awareness
