A pathway has been developed that provides clarity to support mental health and wellbeing of young people in Dumfries and Galloway. The goal is to ensure that children and young people have appropriate support from the right person/service at the right time: D&G’s Children and Young Peoples Emotional Wellbeing and Mental Health Pathway

As part of the Scottish government current programme there is a commitment to provide counselling within schools across Scotland to support young people from P6 to S6.
