Our Partnership
The Executive Group of our Children’s Services Strategic and Planning Partnership (CSSaPP Executive Group) involves senior managers from NHS Dumfries and Galloway; Dumfries and Galloway Council; the Police; Third Sector Dumfries and Galloway; and the Scottish Children’s Reporter Administration.

They come together to identify shared priorities for services for children and young people across the entire partnership, with a focus on children and young people who need additional support. Our Children’s Services Plan sets out how we will achieve these priorities.
Our Local Priorities
In Dumfries and Galloway our partnership is prioritising
- Keeping children and young people safe
- Ensuring that families receive the support they need when they need it
- Supporting children and young people to be healthy
- Ensuring that children and young people are able to access learning opportunities which meet their aspirations.

How we work together
Priorities in our Children’s Services Plan are delivered by multi-agency groups. These groups include representatives from across our services for children, young people and families in Dumfries and Galloway.
The multi-agency groups report to our partnership’s Executive Group whose role is to scrutinise progress and challenge the planning groups to demonstrate how well they are making a difference to children and families.
