GIRFEC Training: Informed and Skilled
The 2 online courses below are published by NHS Education for Scotland (NES).
There are 2 levels of GIRFEC eLearning: Informed and Skilled.
The approach agreed by the GIRFEC Leadership Group is that:
- All staff in services that are accessed by children/young people will be expected to complete the Informed Level.
- Staff in the role of named person, or lead professional will be expected to also complete the Skilled Level.
- GIRFEC eLearning will be incorporated into the induction process for staff in related services.
