What a great day was had yesterday at our first RRS leads day session in the West held at Douglas Ewart High School. The day started with a motivational input from Tree of Knowledge, this was then followed by Education Scotland introducing the Youth Voice Toolkit and then the afternoon gave information about RRSA in D&G including inputs from Ben Wilde and Emma Curtis. The session was finished with a Q&A session with Jenny Price from UNICEF. Well done Laura Caven for having the idea, secruring the funding and organising such a well run and informative day. Laura is hosting another day for the East of the region on 30th September, so if you are in one of these clusters (Annan, Lockerbie, Langholm, Moffat, Dumfries Academy, Dumfries High School. NWCC, St Joseph’s College, Sanquhar, Wallace Hall and Inclusion Hub Central) get signed up and don’t miss out.
