There are 270 MARACs operating across the UK. They are attended by representatives from police, education, health, child protection, housing, independent domestic violence advisors (Idvas), probation and other specialists from the statutory or voluntary sectors. They:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>share all relevant information they have about a victim<\/li>\n<li>discuss options for increasing the victim\u2019s safety<\/li>\n<li>create a co-ordinated action plan.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/div>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><iframe loading=\"lazy\" title=\"What is a Marac?\" width=\"500\" height=\"281\" src=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/embed\/120kSXCUDic?start=2&#038;feature=oembed\" frameborder=\"0\" allow=\"accelerometer; autoplay; clipboard-write; encrypted-media; gyroscope; picture-in-picture; web-share\" referrerpolicy=\"strict-origin-when-cross-origin\" allowfullscreen><\/iframe><\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<div class=\"content clearfix\">\n<p>The primary focus of the MARAC is to safeguard the adult victim.
