What is IFLE?<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

The Inclusion Friendly Learning Environment (IFLE) Accredited Award is a new scheme that all ELC settings in Dumfries and Galloway can participate in. \u200bTo receive the award, settings must be able to provide evidence of inclusive practice, demonstrating that they are giving all children the best chance to lead happy, healthy lives and to be responsible, active citizens.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Settings are required to show that they meet a set number of criteria from each of the five areas of the IFLE Framework<\/em> in order to be accredited at their chosen level.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Before registering for the IFLE Award, we recommend that you take the time to familiarise yourself with the main aspects of IFLE. In particular, take a look at the IFLE Framework<\/em> and the IFLE Flowchart.<\/em><\/p>\n<\/div>\n\n\n\n
