STEP – Supporting Together Empowering Practice

What is STEP?

STEP is a coaching model of training that empowers practitioners to explore topics* and identify their own learning goals. Facilitators provide their specialist knowledge and tools to support practitioners developing their practice through discussion, reflection, and modelling.

STEP can last approximately 8-10 weeks and involves a combination of twilight sessions and practical tasks to implement within your daily practice.

*Example topics: Understanding behaviour and problem solving, meeting emotional needs using regulation strategies, interaction and attunement, and supporting learners through inclusion friendly learning environments.
