The aim of the Digital Leader programme is to build capacity at school, partnership and cluster level, demonstrating how digital technologies can be used to support learning & teaching.

What is a Digital Leader?

A Digital Leader is a member of school staff who is passionate about digital tools and how these can be used to support learning & teaching. They have an interest in improving digital literacy for all practitioners and learners and supporting the delivery of technologies outcomes in their school.

Digital Leaders inspire colleagues and learners to realise the importance of digital tools for Life, Learning and Work, by sharing their knowledge and providing opportunities to improve digital skills.

Their main role in the school is to promote support with the use of digital tools and the delivery of digital literacy, computing science and internet safety.

All Digital Leaders are working towards the aims set for their Digital Cluster Improvement Plan for 2023/2024.
