Paul Jones Tournament 2017

The Paul Jones Football Festival has been a huge success for both our teams this year.  The girls and boys’ teams played their socks off in the Festival Final at the weekend in Kirkcudbright in very hot conditions. Although they didn’t win, this time, they made their coach David and the whole school community very proud indeed. For such a small number of pupils and with many never having played a competitive football match before, they showed exemplary resilience, sportsmanship and empathy. Amazing effort everyone!

A HUGE well done to both teams and a MASSIVE thank you to coach David from the players and staff for using your own free time to develop their skills…watch this space for next year!

Some of the brilliant action shots of the day…

An extra special congratulations to Amy P6, who won the Player of the Day in the Girls’ League…excellent achievement and very well deserved Amy!
