Pupils from schools across Dumfries and Galloway were given the opportunity to name some of the council gritters that they see out hard at work over the winter time in our region. Rowan came up with the name\u00a0Salty Sam and this\u00a0was chosen as the Stewartry winner.\u00a0 Salty Sam was brought to school today for Rowan and her friends from P3 to see.
