We are delighted to share some exciting news with you from here at Dalbeattie Primary School. Riley from P4\/5 has been awarded a special merit in the Category C Primary 4 -7 section of this competition. The competition is in its 14th year and this year they received over 7,700 entries from all over Scotland so being amongst the winners is a major achievement. We are delighted\u00a0that Riley is\u00a0receiving this award. A huge thanks must also go to Mrs McLeman our specialist art teacher for selecting Riley’s piece of art work to enter in the competition along with several others form the class\u00a0and a\u00a0group composition from the P5 class.<\/p>\n

Riley’s art work along with all other winning entries from each category will be framed and on display at the Scottish National Gallery of Modern Art 0-Modern ONE, from 10th June -24th September. The exhibition will then go on tour to Eastwood Park Theatre Gallery, Giffnock and Gracefield Arts centre in Dumfries until Spring 2018.<\/p>\n
