{"id":4000,"date":"2017-02-17T12:46:54","date_gmt":"2017-02-17T12:46:54","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/blogs.glowscotland.org.uk\/dg\/dalbeattieprimaryschoolblog\/?p=4000"},"modified":"2017-02-17T12:46:54","modified_gmt":"2017-02-17T12:46:54","slug":"p7-burns-competition","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/blogs.glowscotland.org.uk\/dg\/dalbeattieprimaryschoolblog\/2017\/02\/17\/p7-burns-competition\/","title":{"rendered":"P7 Burns Competition"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>For the last few weeks Primary 7 have been busy learning their extracts\u00a0from Tam O&#8217;Shanter for the annual P7 Burns Competition.<\/p>\n<p>The children have worked extremely hard to learn the pieces, as well as applying their drama skills, using facial expressions and actions, to retell the story.<br \/>\nThey were also challenged with choosing a scene from the poem to collage.
