Miss Carson got a teddy for Christmas which she brought into nursery to show the children.\u00a0 They named him Tumble Ted because he has a bowtie like Mr Tumble.\u00a0 Everyone was very surprised when he reappeared in nursery dressed as a superhero and carrying a map, which he had used to find his way back here.\u00a0 This allowed us to do some mapwork and take on a superhero theme.\u00a0 The role play area is now a Superhero den and the boys and girls are enjoying dressing up and having adventures.\u00a0 They turned themselves into superheroes for a new wall display and are sharing their knowledge about famous characters with staff.<\/p>\n

Tumble Ted continues to surprise us.\u00a0 Today we got an email from him with a selfie he’d taken as he packed for a holiday.\u00a0 He was looking for suggestions of places to visit and the children thought maybe Sandyhills, a caravan trip\u00a0to Legoland\u00a0or Australia might be fun destinations for him.\u00a0 He is going to keep in touch via email and<\/p>\n
