Parent Council Halloween Word Scramble<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n

A message from our Parent Council:<\/p>\n

“Please find attached a Halloween<\/span>\u00a0Word<\/span>\u00a0Scramble<\/span>\u00a0for you to print off as many times as you wish and give to all your family, friends and relatives! Printed copies are available at\u00a0Crossmichael village shop.<\/em><\/p>\n

Please place your completed\u00a0Word<\/span>\u00a0Scramble<\/span>\u00a0in an envelope together with a donation (we suggest \u00a31, but feel free to donate whatever you feel you can)) and return either to school or to the village shop by Tuesday, 27th October. Don’t forget to provide a name and contact number so that we can contact the winner who will receive a\u00a0Halloween<\/span>\u00a0themed\u00a0treat! All proceeds will go to Crossmichael Primary School Parent Council and will be used to support the school in the education of your children by subsidising trips, purchasing materials and equipment and providing the odd treat along the way.<\/em><\/div>\n

Crossmichael Community Council are looking for volunteers to help clean up the woodland or to borrow equipment (strimmers, mowers, etc.).\u00a0 If you can help then please contact Lindsay@catstrand.com<\/p>\n

Castle Douglas Development Forum Survey<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n

“Community members of Castle Douglas and the surrounding areas, we need to hear your views on the future of Castle Douglas.<\/em><\/div>\n

Castle Douglas Development Forum are in the process of developing a Strategic Town Plan for Castle Douglas and, as part of that process, we\u2019re asking community members (residents, businesses, service providers etc) to complete an online survey to provide us with insight into what is already happening, what is needed and what support there is for future actions. We want to find out what you think is the way forward – what you would like to see happen and what you think the challenges and the opportunities are.<\/em><\/div>\n

Every returned survey has the option to be entered into a \u00a350 prize draw.<\/em><\/div>\n

Information About PE Lessons<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n

Here are the latest\u00a0PE<\/span> guidelines (10th October 2020) posted by Education Scotland and taking into account the advice from Scottish Government.\u00a0 I understand that some parents were asking about what PE provision is happening in school and I hope that this offers some explanation.<\/p>\n
