Mrs Wilson’s Collection<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n

Mrs Wilson\u00a0will be leaving the school over the Christmas holidays.\u00a0 \u00a0I would like to take this opportunity to thank her for her input at Crossmichael and Gelston Primary Schools.\u00a0 To recognise her contribution to the school over the years, we will be having a collection for her.\u00a0 Please send donations to the school office by Tuesday 17th December so that we can present her with a gift at our Christmas Service in the Church on Friday 20th December.<\/p>\n

In January, P1-3 will continue to have Mrs Glover on a Mon, Tues, Wed and Fri with Mrs Christie teaching on a Thurs.\u00a0 I will ensure minimal disruption to learning until a new member of staff is appointed.<\/div>\n

Stewartry Dance Competition – Tuesday 10th Dec from 10am-12pm<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n

We wish our dancers well as they participate in the Stewartry Dance Competition tomorrow in Castle Douglas Town Hall.<\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

Head Lice<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n

Often children will catch head lice.\u00a0 It can be distressing for children and parents\/ guardians but it is easily treatable.\u00a0 Advice can be found on the NHS website using this link:\u00a0https:\/\/www.nhs.uk\/conditions\/head-lice-and-nits\/ .\u00a0 It is worth noting that regular wet combing of conditioned hair, using a nit comb, should help to eradicate the nits and lice.\u00a0 In the new year, I would be happy to arrange a workshop with the School Nurse for any interested parents\/ guardians.<\/p>\n

All parents and families are invited to the school so that pupils can share their achievements in learning within and out with school.<\/td>\n<\/tr>\n

Wednesday 18th<\/sup> December at 12pm<\/strong><\/td>\nSchool Christmas Dinner<\/strong><\/td>\n<\/tr>\n
Thursday 19th<\/sup> December<\/strong><\/td>\nChristmas Parties (P1-3 in the morning and P5-7 in the afternoon)<\/strong><\/p>\n

P1-3 may arrive wearing their party clothes\/non-uniform and change into uniforms before lunch.\u00a0 P4-7 may bring party clothes\/ non-uniform with them and change at lunch time.<\/td>\n<\/tr>\n

Thursday 19th<\/sup> December at 7.15pm<\/strong><\/td>\nPantomime at the Fullarton Theatre<\/strong><\/p>\n

Pupils from Crossmichael and Gelston Primary Schools will attend the theatre to see Cinderella.\u00a0 Please drop your child off at the main door at 7.15pm and collect them from the main door at 9.30pm.<\/td>\n<\/tr>\n

Friday 20th<\/sup> Dec at 9.30am <\/strong><\/td>\nChristmas Service<\/strong><\/p>\n

Parents and families are invited to join us for our Christmas Service in Crossmichael Parish Church.<\/td>\n<\/tr>\n<\/tbody>\n<\/table>\n
