Communication and Data Protection<\/u><\/strong><\/p>\n

In the interests of Data Protection, we wanted to ensure that we are no longer holding pupil details on unused apps or websites.<\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

Crossmichael Primary no longer uses the \u2018Seesaw\u2019 app that was being trialled by Mrs Glover last year.\u00a0 Pupil details have been deleted from this app and we advise that parents delete the app if they were using it.<\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

I have contacted the administrator of the old websites and I have asked them to delete the websites and URLs.<\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

We still use https:\/\/www.classdojo.com\/<\/a>\u00a0 as a way of recording House Points but we no longer store any email addresses or information other than your child\u2019s first name on this secure website.\u00a0 We no longer use the \u2018Parent Share\u2019 function in Class Dojo.<\/p>\n

We continue to send GroupCall texts to your mobile phones.\u00a0 GroupCall is directly linked to data from our Council based SEEMiS system.<\/p>\n

The Expressions app is also linked to GroupCall and SEEMiS but we do not use it after gathering feedback from parents.\u00a0 You may delete the Expressions app.<\/p>\n

Crossmichael Primary Health Group<\/u><\/strong><\/p>\n

Pupils from our Health Group wish to encourage healthy eating by having \u2018Fruity Fridays\u2019.\u00a0 On a Friday we encourage pupils to bring fruit or vegetables for snack and they will be awarded House Points.\u00a0 The group will record numbers over the next few weeks and months and pupils will be rewarded for taking one step towards being healthier.<\/p>\n

Scholastic Book Club Breakfast – – Friday 29th<\/sup> November<\/u><\/strong><\/p>\n

Our Book Fair arrives on Thursday 28th November for a week.\u00a0 It will be open in\u00a0the m<\/span>ornings and afternoons when Mrs Martin is in the office.\u00a0 We would like to invite you to our \u2018Book Fair Breakfast\u2019 on Friday 29th<\/sup> November from 8.15-8.55am.\u00a0 Parents should contact the school office to let us know if you intend to come along to this.<\/p>\n

P1-3 may arrive wearing their party clothes\/non-uniform and change into uniforms before lunch.\u00a0 P4-7 may bring party clothes\/ non-uniform with them and change at lunch time.<\/td>\n<\/tr>\n

Thursday 19th<\/sup> December at 7pm<\/strong><\/td>\nPantomime at the Fullarton Theatre<\/strong><\/p>\n

Pupils from Crossmichael and Gelston Primary Schools will attend the theatre to see Cinderella.<\/p>\n

Friday 20th<\/sup> Dec at 9am <\/strong><\/td>\nChristmas Service<\/strong><\/p>\n
