<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>Referrals will be considered from all health, education and children\u2019s services professionals and from families and carers themselves.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>How to make a referral (if applicable): <\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>We accept referrals by letter, email or request for assistance form.<br><strong>Referrals can also be made via the <a href=\"https:\/\/dghscp.co.uk\/camhs\/\">CAMHS website<\/a><\/strong><br><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Referral Criteria:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>The child is Care Experienced and Accommodated, and\/or in kinship care or adopted.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>The young person is between the ages of 0 \u2013 18.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>The young person is resident in Dumfries and Galloway.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>The young person is displaying significant emotional and\/or behavioural difficulties related to being looked after and \/ or accommodated<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>Top tips for making a &#8216;good&#8217; referral (if applicable):&nbsp;<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>Information to be included in a referral:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>What the current concerns are and the impact on the child<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>What services are currently involved with the child\/family and what work they are undertaking<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>What assistance is being requested<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>Other information that would be helpful:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>An overview of the current living situation<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Significant life events that may have occurred<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>A brief family history or any other background information that is available<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>Does anything need to be in place before a referral is accepted (for example a Child&#8217;s Plan)?<\/strong>&nbsp; <\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>No<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>Is there a charge\/fee for this service?<\/strong>&nbsp; <\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>No<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>If there is a charge\/fee, is there funding available for this?
