Children and young people aged 12-25?)<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>In Dumfries and Galloway we are usually involved at primary and secondary school ages but we can be involved from the early years to the transition into adulthood<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>Area covered<\/strong>: (eg All Dumfries and Galloway, specific localities?)<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>All Dumfries and Galloway<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>Can an individual access the service directly, or do they need to be referred to it by another service?<\/strong> <strong>(Does there need to be a referral from a teacher, health visitor, social worker, other service\/ practitioner or is this not required?)<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>Short (up to half an hour) telephone consultations are available to named persons, lead professionals, and parents\/carers.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>For young people who meet the service\u2019s criteria a request for assistance (RFA) can be submitted following a consultation, usually by the named person for that child.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>How to make a referral (if applicable):<\/strong> <strong>(If a service is referring a child or young person, do they need to submit a Request for Assistance Form or does the service have its own forms that a referrer would need to complete?)<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>Initial consultations are required before submitting an RfA.
