Every child needs to achieve

Children have the skills, and confidence to learn well.

Achieving means things like:

  • learning new skills and learning to do things for themselves
  • wanting to do well at school and working hard
  • being supported to learn at home and at school
  • feeling confident
  • taking part in art, music and community activities
  • feeling OK about making mistakes and learning from them. It is okay to get things wrong
  • having chances to volunteer and be valued citizens
  • wanting to keep learning when they have left school
