Who the service is aimed at: All Children and Young People (Families)
Parental Involvement and Engagement support and advice including engagement with children and young people on complaints, access to records and pupil councils in schools.
Support provided: Support for families with children, young people in Education
Support for families who may be facing challenges in school with relationships that are impacting on attendence or impacting on learning.
It may be linked to barriers or opportunities that are being missed due to a lack of understanding
It may be that you may wish to seek clarification on something but do not wish to speak to someone in your school at this time.
This can be an informal discussion for advice and support.
It might mean that we have those conversations on your behalf.
It might mean being directed to another service or
It might mean being directed to our complaints procedure if we are unable to find a solution or resolution to your concern.
You might also want to share a compliment – something that has worked well and want other children, young people or families to benefit from.
Sharing what works well, as well as what doesn’t are both equally important to us.
Support for families with children and young people who are Home Educated is also provided.
