Universal – all young people

Support provided: 

Our services are delivered within Secondary Schools, Our Public Access Centres (Dumfries and Stranraer), and various community venues across Dumfries and Galloway. Services include:

  • Career information, advice and guidance on career choices
  • Advice on the routes into career including jobs, apprenticeships, training and learning
  • Help with CVs, application forms and interviews
  • Insight into the local labour market
  • Access to Scotland’s careers web service, My World of Work
  • Redundancy support
  • Support for parents and carers

Age range:

SECONDARY SCHOOL AGE;16-18;18-25;

All Dumfries and Galloway

Individuals can self-refer, or services can refer.

  • Walk in to one of our Public Access Centres in Dumfries or Stranraer
  • School pupils can speak to pupil support or directly to their school based Careers Adviser
  • No referral form required.
