Hello!!!

My name is Mrs Baird and I am your class teacher. I can’t wait to meet you all so that we can start having fun singing, dancing, reading stories , playing and learning lots of new things in Primary 1!

In my photo you will also see Ben the Bear – he is our class bear and he is 4 just like you. He likes to eat marmalade sandwiches just like Paddington, but best of all he loves to watch what we get up to in Primary 1 from his special place at the front of the class!

Over the next few weeks have a go at some of the activities we have put in the grid below. These activities will help you to build on the skills that are really important in Primary 1 – I hope you have fun trying them!! You will also find these on the P1 transition page on the school website!

Hi everyone

I’ve really enjoyed seeing all your photos and hearing what you’ve been up to this week. Thank you for sending them.
