Challenge 1 – Cardboard Box

This week (4th May), families are Invited to try the  Cardboard Box Challenge. all that is required is a box (es) and your imagination and creativity.

B has turned her box in to an ice cream truck – deliveries please!

Mrs Milligan’s son C made this fantastic road with parking spaces and a garage to fix the vehicles.

 


EW, P1 has taken her smoothie box and turned it in to a guitar! Looking forward to hearing some singing too!

Emma P5/6 and Jillie P2/3 have shared this fabulous underwater scene with moving characters. The purrmaid looks great!

 


Need somewhere to park you car safely? Look no further as AG P1 has made this great garage. I wonder how many cars it could take altogether?

Mrs C – has shared this fab video but now we all know where she keeps her hidden goodies!

One of our family’s created a ‘naughty word’ box – so far 50p is in it !!!!!

 


S, A and P decided to make a bug hotel with their cardboard box. They put toilet roll tubes inside and spent a long time collecting different plants and natural materials, filling each tube so that the bugs have different environments to choose from. They are are excited to see which bugs come to stay!

 

 

 


TM, P7, has made this terrific Turtle Lair so his Teenage Ninja Turtles can have lots of adventures.

 


ER, P6 has spent all week making Hogwarts out of an old box. What a fantastic effort – magic!!!

 


 

 

 

 This is AR, P3/4’s race track which he made with old cereal boxes. All ready for the red lights to go off and the race begin!

 


M & his daddy have been busy making a rescue helicopter this week.  M had lots of fun helping his dad sticking all the parts on then getting to decorate it & most of all fly it!   M & Chase have been flying to lots of fun places on their trips. 

 


 

 

W and J decided to make an aeroplane for their teddy bears. 
They made the controls and decorated the wings with go faster stripes. 
Pilot Jess Jess bear and co pilot Brodie are away on their adventures.
Goggles are essential for flying. 


 

 

 

Mrs Phillpott and O made this fabulous cart!


 

Keeping warm or ready for a BBQ? AS has made a fire from her box whic looks warm and cosy.

 


A great idea from HK – use your imagination to transport yourself to a different place and time using his Time Machine!

 


CH made an ice lolly castle with a drawbridge for this challenge. He had great fun making it with his daddy. 

 


 


Thank you to J and L who sent in these photos of a subutteo football table they created. The teams are made up of their favourite player and each stick has a name and number. 

 


 

I and F L decided to make a “pet play area” for their pet snails Shelley and Sophie put of their cardboard boxes. The snails loved exploring their new gardens!
