P6 Carlingwark Adventure

On Thursday and Friday all P6 girls  went to Carlingwark.

Day 1

We did orienteering and mountain biking and  we  really enjoyed it.

Lotti thought “ the experience was great and it was a lot of fun”.
Lois thought “the experience was fun and a lot of challenges during the trip”.

The main challenge was climbing Criffel is a big hill near Dumfries and is 597 m high . We also got another challenge at Criffel it  was  the tunnel  with water. At the end of the tunnel there was water that would have went up to Lois’s collar bone and Lotti’s   waist.

This shows how steep our walk up the hill was.

We stopped for almost as long as we walked!

The Pipe Challenge.

On the summit 🙂

Teamwork in action!

Lotti’s fear was staying over night but my friends were there to help me. We shared dorms with each other and Ellie, Amy, Rosie and Jazmin.
On Thursday night we went on a night walk to Threave Gardens. On our walk we found the schools Geocache the one that we found was Swifts  so that meant it hasn’t been found but eagle, deer and hare has been found. We had a great time on the walk at night.

The mounting biking was tricky but fun.

We really enjoyed it and we would do it again. We would rate it a 10/10.
