Weekly News – Jun 12th

Primary 1a has been learning lots about toys – how they move by pushing and pulling. We have also been learning about the Days of the Week.
We made peg dolls and paper aeroplanes and hope to fly the planes next week.

Primary 1b has been busy practising for Sports. We have also been using a map and controls to find clues in the Hall.
“I like our art work” – Summer and Erin enjoys doing take away sums.

P1/2 has been busy in the Nature Garden. Rosie said “it was like a schooltrip.”
Primary 3a
Jack and Tiana were chosen as Pupils of the Week – well done!
We have been investigating floating and sinking activities.

Primary P3b
Have also been working on Pirate Activities getting ready for next week.
Ryan has a Taekwondo test next week and some the children who go to Dance class are getting a new uniform.

Primary 4b have been learning about 3 digit numbers in maths and electricity in topic work.

Primary 5 has been creative working in small groups to make 3D pictures which light up using electrical circuits.
P6 Buddies have had a fun time meeting new P1s and helping with Nursery Sports. Liam said “The little ones were really good at the sports!”

Primary 6/7 has started a new topic about Natural Disasters. We have made a volcano erupt and learned about tornadoes.
We think we have done some awesome art work!

Primary 7 raised a fabulous £440 for Rotary International which will go towards their project to eradicate Polio.

Coming Up Next Week.

Monday – Sports Morning – 9:30am
P1-3 and P4-7 pupils will have both running races and Potted Sports to win points for their House (Deer (blue), Eagle (green), Hare (red) or Swift (yellow)) for the Sports Championship.
After Sports there will be a Family Picnic on the Sports Pitch.
The weather is looking good and please remember sun cream and hats.

On Tuesday evening (7pm) and Wednesday afternoon (1:30pm) P6, P6/7 and 7 will be presenting a concert. P6/7 and 7 had a dress rehearsal for their show, Pirates of the Curry Bean, last Friday – smile emoticon

On Thursday P3a and P3b will be leading a Pirate Activity Day – all activities are 20p.
On Friday P3 parents are very welcome to come along at 2pm to have a go at the activities too.
