The group is made up of three Principal Teachers Additional Support for Learning, a Depute Head Teacher of a specialist secondary, and the Schools&#8217; ICT Development Officer.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>To make a request for support, please email <a href=\"mailto:assistivetechnologysupport@dumgal.gov.uk\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\"><strong>assistivetechnologysupport@dumgal.gov.uk<\/strong><\/a>, providing the following information:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li class=\"has-text-color has-link-color href=\"https:\/\/blogs.glowscotland.org.uk\/dg\/assistivetechnology\/wp-admin\/edit.php?post_type=page\"><\/a><\/h2>\n\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-columns is-layout-flex wp-container-core-columns-is-layout-9d6595d7 wp-block-columns-is-layout-flex\">\n<div class=\"wp-block-column is-layout-flow wp-block-column-is-layout-flow\">\n<p>When a request is received it is reviewed by the ICT Development Officer who will contact the school within 5 working days to provide support. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>This may be an offer of training, technology to try with your learner, signposting to resources or other agencies, or you may be invited to an initial consultation via a Microsoft Teams call to discuss the request further.<\/p>\n\n\n<div required, and what has already been tried and tested by the school.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Next Steps:<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>the school will be provided with training, guidance and\/or resources, <strong>or<\/strong><\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>the request is progressed to the Assistive Technology Support working group for further review all requests for support, and discuss those assigned to them for their specialist knowledge.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Next Steps:<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>the school will be provided with training, guidance and\/or resources, <strong>or<\/strong><\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>the request is progressed for consideration by other
