Our school has 3 Mary’s Meals Ambassadors. We promote and raise money for the Mary’s Meals Charity which feeds children who go to school in Africa. We often have a porridge breakfast to begin our fundraising. Pupils can also help by donating their old school bags. These are sent to less fortunate children in Africa.

Kathryn, Connie, Shara, Mrs Pearson and Mrs McCann travelled to Glasgow on Sunday 10th November to attend the Mary’s Meals Annual Conference. It was very exciting to be there, we met two girls from Malawi who were performing on stage. They go to a school for orphans and receive Mary’s Meals breakfast everyday. We presented our cheque of £170, which was the money we raised from our World Porridge Day. We all enjoyed the day but also realised the importance of our charity fundraising. Thanks to all who support this charity.
