Den builders

In Carrutherstown some of the pupils have been creative and been making dens, me, Lucy and Marley are in a den.  Cara and Bella have a den.  Chloe has a den.  Taylor, Deacon and Ross have a den and the rest of the school are playing together.  The boys have got rope, string  and a sheet for their den. Bella and Cara have got one big stick to tie the string to and tied the other end to a tree and put a sheet in the middle of the rope. Me, Lucy and Marley have a stick for the walls, on the path we have a wee tent.

Singing

This week, we have been learning songs with our music teacher, Mrs. Davis. My favourite song that we learnt was ‘sing’ by Gary Barlow. ‘Sing’ was created for the London Olympic games 2012 to represent Great Britian. We also learned ‘We are the Commonwealth’ for the Glasgow commonwealth games 2014 and ‘Takin’ it easy ‘ on the Gloochespiel, but the best thing about singing is that it stops you SNORING!!!

Amiesfield football tournement.

On the 19th of May, 2014, CCU, (our football club) took part in the Amiesfield football tournement. I was in goals for the first two matches and on the third I was in left-wing defence. We didn’t win any matches but we didn’t let that dampen our spirits. The best thing about the Amiesfield football tournement was when I bought 10 whole super sour lollies for 50p, what a BARGAIN!

Sprint Relay

On Thursday the 29th of May Carrutherstown Primary School’s sprinters attended a sprint relay. In the sprint you ran two races and the fastest time you got in the  two races was the one that counted. In our first race we finished 1st with a brilliant time and in our second we came 2nd but we later found out we had been disqualified. We reached the final we tried our hardest to finish within the top 3. When we saw the teams we thought we had no chance but we tried and tried and finshed 3rd out of 17 school most with twice the pupils we have .

The  disco was really good job.I think we should have another one and invite Cummertrees to the disco.
