For our topic Mrs Martin bought some cacao beans  to bring in to class . They looked like big raisins and thay smelled a bit   like dark chocolate and vinegar .We found out about how it goes from bean to bar it was fun!

On Saturday the 2nd of November Carrutherstown and Cummertrees attended a 5 a side football tournament. In the A team were John, Hayden, Dan, CJ, Aiden, Lewis and Curran. In the B team were Nathan, Ross, Taylor, Georgia, Dean, Lex and Harris During the A team’s games they drew 1-1 against Kirpatrick Fleming, then lost 6-0 against Newington and in there last game lost 2-0 to Eaglesfield

On 31st of October we had a Halloween Party, it was awesome.We all dresed up in scary costumes and played games.We had a competition for best costume .1st place was Deacon who was dressed as a mad hatter 2nd place was Mia and Catherine that were dressed up as slamese twins and 3d place was Frank who half bat half human.We all had an amazing day!

In music on Thursday the 13th November we were practising our Christmas songs. We were doing songs from tinsel and teatowels and other traditional Christmas songs.

P4-7  made clay figures in art. It took us 3 weeks to complete our clay figures now they look great. We painted them spotty,splattered,stripey and flowery . What makes them all so unique is that they are all different .

On the 13th of November at our school it was photograph day. Our photographer was called Jennifer she was very nice to us all. Everyone brought there slip in to say they were getting there photograph taken , I dont really enjoy my photograph taken , but i had to at least it didnt take long for my photo.

Halloween party on the 31St it was our school’s Halloween party. we all dressed up in different costumes all of our ideas were great.our pumpkins well they where amazing all carved out to perfection. all our teachers dressed up as witches Mrs martin was trouble Mrs O’Neil was toil. Mrs Richardson and Mrs berry where called bubble and Hubble . we all had great fun playing the games that our witchy teachers had prepared. then it came to judging was hard because there was so meany entry’s in the fancy dress

I am very excited about the football tomorrow. The tournament is at the Sands Centre in Carlisle. I am playing for CC United in the B team. We will be wearing red and black stripey strips.

We are all excited about our new topic. It is not often you can learn about something and eat it too. We planned what we want to find out about.
