I have been picked to represent Lockerbie Academy for the school Show Jumping team. the height I will be doing is 75cm.

I’m captain for the Annandale formation team. I went to Blackpool to compete for Scotland at Blackpool Winter Gardens. I was in the Junior Scottish Squad and we came 4th out of 6 teams which were Wales, Isle of Man, North of England, South of England and The rest of England. I was team captain for The Annandale formation team we competed at the Blackpool winter Gardens we came 2nd out of 6 teams. I competed against people from all around the world. Because I was competing against people from all around the world team Scotland had to do a speech, I had my own part to say I said it infront of countries from all around the world.

In drama I got a merit for trying hard and doing my best acting. I auditioned for the school play and I got one of the more harder parts. I’m doing great with learning my words and turning up on time to rehearsals. I got a 9 in my first drama test it was the highest in the class. I’m able to preform a drama piece in  …

I can draw a 1 point perspective cube/cuboid. I design on serif page plus. I can design a logo myself. We have learned how to use an oven/hob/grill. We have learned how to carry a knife safely. We have learned how to chop safely. We have made sunshine toast, rice crispy cakes, cupcakes, Rainbow salad, tomato soup.

I know what the Richter scale is. I can identify the magnitude of earthquakes.

I know why it is important to learn languages; to bring cultures together. I can name different animals in French.

In science I can light a Bunsen Burner measure different volumes of liquid, and I can use a top pan balancer. I can measure the length of a pencil case, jotter, calculator, planner and a shoe. I can name different body systems E.G reproductive, breathing, digestive.

I can research different types of tourist attractions around Dumfries and Galloway for all ages of people. I’m able to make a leaflet about a tourist attraction in Dumfries and Galloway. I have been preparing a leaflet about Sandyhills using Microsoft publisher. I know what BODMAS is. I can x10. I can divide by 10,100,1000. I can identify money in different ways. I’m able to times by tens.

I can take a piece of text and get Important pieces of information out of it. I can do a spelling test and get all my questions correct. I can say what I want to improve on. I can work in a team, and give my opinion and help make a team poster. I can research information, and summarise what I found and then put into my own words. I can assess a partner, I can give them positive and negative feedback. I can give a presentation and listen well while others talk. I can start a fantasy story.

On the 27th of June 2014 Carrutherstown primary were making loom band bracelets. We had all different teachers to talk us through the making of the bracelet. I was a teacher and i was teaching people to do a inverted fishtail. It was very difficult teaching a lot of kids. I had most of the class in my group and it was nearly impossible. It was great fun. And i learned how to teach people. This is Hayden’s loom band bracelet he was in my group.

On the 26th and 27th we learned how to make loom bands on the 26th I learned how to make a fishtail it was quite easy when you learned how to make it.On the 27th I learned  how to inverted fishtail it was a little bit harder than the fishtail.
