Such a lovely day for some outdoor learning!
Our fabulous St Mungo – painted by P1
P1, 2 and 3
Our lovely class!
P2 have been so busy in their writing offices today writing stories all about St Kentigern. We can’t wait for you all to read them!
P1-3 started their toothbrushing programme yesterday. We were all very excited to see our new toothbrushes!
This page will share work, photographs and details of what is happening in P1-3 class.
Since August 2013 we have a new teacher called Miss Robinson. She has been helping us to learn lots of new things and our classroom is a very busy place. This term we are learning about our local area and look forward to sharing lots of what we learn on the blog.
This is a picture of our class below.
14.1.13
Katie Morag has been helping us learn all about Scotland this week. We are really enjoying using Scots words….we feel a little naughty! It was great to hear the story P3-7 wrote in Scots.
In health we talked about friends and what makes a good friend. We then wrote about a special friend. Mrs Smith put them up on the wall and we really enjoyed looking at all the pictures and drawings.
3.12.12
We have been busy this week learning our words and songs for the church service. We hope lots of people will come along to see us perform a short set about the first Christmas.
Time has been our topic in maths and we have been using a clock to time ourselves. We had great fun counting how many jumps we could do in a minute. Alasdair was so good!
26.11.12
This term we have been learning about space and below is some of the fantastic art work decorating our classroom.
Mrs Anderson started our technology lessons. We are designing and making rockets that can go on top of the beebot. This is a little programmable toy that moves about the floor. When we are finished we will test our designs and discuss what works best.
This week we have started learning some Scottish dances in PE. We will use some of these dances we learn at our Christmas party.
Mrs Smith is really delighted with our writing. We are becoming so skilled! What do you think?
Beautiful writing everyone! And I’m very impressed by your rockets – do you think they could Ziggy to his planet?
Thank you Gabriel’s Mum! P1-2 are doing so well with their writing. they are also working so hard on the nativity story which they are going to tell at the church service! Mums and Dads– bring your tissues!!
Wow! All your writing has improved so much! And your rockets are epic; When you build one big enough, could I please have a ticket to ride into space? [Joke ;)]
