We invited ex-pupils into school to interview them using questions we’d created especially! It was fascinating. One lady went to school here in 1933! All of the ex-pupils made us realise that our school has changed so much over the years and made us grateful we go to school now! Ask us about some of the interesting memories they shared with us!
We enjoyed our visit to the church on Thursday where we were able to see David Bryce’s work in real life. We even found out a new fact about St Kentigern that we didn’t know already!!!
Well done to Rose Byers who came 2nd in the P4-5 singing category with her performance of Ca’ the Ewes!
A huge well done to all the children who took part in the Burns competition. You were brilliant.
Rhiannon, Adam, Abby and Kerr gave fantastic performances in the recitation.

P 3-7 visited Dumfries on Thursday 30th January to learn more about life in the time of Robert Burns. We had a great time!
The next meeting of the Parent Council is on Tuesday 28th January at 7pm. Everyone is most welcome.

Look out for information coming soon regarding a fantastic social event the Parent Council are hosting. On 15th February, a Scottish night will be held in the Village Hall from 7pm-9pm. There will be dancing, singing , recitations and much more! Tickets go on sale soon, so look out for a letter in the children’s bags.
P7 had great fun learning a new sport. They spent two mornings at the ice rink curling. They all enjoyed the experience and would be keen to try it again.
